The first thing is to lower the crib mattress. Also remove the bumper and any toys that could be used as a booster. If your child is inspired, they will use anything to get out of their crib. If adjusting the crib and removing access articles doesn’t work, here are a couple of other suggestions:
~ Crib Tent: It’s a removable attachment that keeps children from climbing out of their crib.
~ Toddler Size Bed with side rails: This will not keep them from knocking on your bedside in the middle of the night at first; but it will keep them from injuring themselves. Overtime, your toddler will get use to their new sleeping arrangements and it will be peaceful sleeping again.
